Glen Canyon Dam. Preliminary sediment estimates appear favorable for a high flow experimental release to occur during the period of November 18 – 25, 2012.

Lake Mojave - Six launch ramps on Lake Mohave temporarily Oct. 29 to Nov. 7 as the Bureau of Reclamation lowers water levels for endangered fish species conservation.
“Water levels are below 633 feet on Lake Mohave, we have to close our ramps for the safety of our boaters and infrastructure,” said Superintendent Bill Dickinson. “We apologize for the inconvenience during this pleasant fall boating season.”
Developed and primitive ramps at Willow Beach, Cottonwood Cove, Katherine Landing, Princess Cove, Arizona Telephone Cove and Nevada Telephone Cove will be closed during these dates.
The marinas, fuel stations, stores, motels, campsites and picnic areas will remain open, and boaters who have their vessels slipped or moored will still be allowed access to the lake. Raft, kayak and canoe trips at Black Canyon south of the Hoover Dam will also continue. Check with tour companies for details or schedule changes.
