Arizona Sky Island

The road to the top of Mt. Graham opened on Friday so we headed up there for a Sunday drive.
This is Riggs Flat lake....





There are occasional sasquatch sightings up here....



All I found were Yarrows Spiny Lizards catching some rays...



And in the grass beneath them, this serpentine predator lurked... (Wandering Garter Snake)



A little trickle coming of the top...



This rattlesnake got a free ride out of the neighborhood first thing in the morning...

Very cool, great photos. Our local mountains are still full of snow with muddy roads, etc.
