That is Mount Graham in the distance (10,700').
This saddle can be seen from my backyard... I have been wanting to climb up there one of these days.
Looking in the general direction (SE) of Lordsburg, New Mexico.
We top out at Blackjack and head towards Mule Creek, New Mexico....
A pair of young bucks were jousting a little ways off the road.....
This buck is just a spike horn (not very visible in the pic without magnification)...
Looking off to the frosty prairie near Mule Creek...
Looking towards the Aldo Leopold/Gila Wilderness areas, basically the Southern end of the Rockies....
The Rocky Mountains up close....
Then we turned around to go back home....
