Friday, July 25, 2008 I put my canoe in the Colorado near the Highway 191 bridge in Moab and spent the day paddling 16 miles to the Potash boat ramp.
You'd think that this scenic stretch of river would be heavily used by boaters and tourists but the fact is, it's not. Except for a jet boat tour, only the occaisonal canoe or kayak will be seen.
I've canoed this stretch many times with my wife, but this day, I thought I'd try a solo paddle. Photos from this trip are on my community site.
