I just moved to the desert from San Diego. I'm now living in the Coachella Valley. The heat isn't so bad as I'm working indoors most of the day during the week.
I'm trying to figure out what people do in the summer months in the desert regions? Most of my friends travel to San Diego or other coastal regions, but with the rising gas prices, leaving town every weekend isn't an option. auburngalI was there in January. Where exactly are you? DH and I stayed in Palm Desert, but we went all around, especially to the valley to sample the dates. Had a great time, plan to go back next March. My family lives in LA so I visit them and plan a desert trip whenever I can.
